El Salto, Jalisco; Born as a municipality in 1943, its history as an industrial zone dates back to 1896 with the beginning of the construction of the cotton yarn and fabric factory by French Capital called “Compañía Industrial Manufacturera, SA”, With approximately 1,650 workers.

In the decade of the 60’s the Industrial Corridor of El Salto was created, where companies of world importance settled.

The Industrial Park of El Salto was the first to be installed in the State of Jalisco, and was until 1988 that the Guadalajara Industrial Park was consolidated; Both are part of the Industrial Corridor, located in the municipalities of El Salto, Tlajomulco, Tlaquepaque and Ixtlahuacan de los Membrillos.

In 1982, the idea of establishing an Association that represented the interests of the productive plant installed in the area was conceived. In April of that same year, the first board of directors of the nascent group was formed and on July 29 of that same year it was formally founded “Asociación de Industriales de El Salto, AC”.

Desarrollar el estudio y análisis de los problemas referentes a las actividades industriales de sus integrantes, así como la realización de las acciones enfocadas a fomentar el desarrollo de la industria en la región.

Ofrecer diversas formas de atención y actualización a nuestros socios.

Actuar como órgano de consulta ante el Estado manteniendo información actualizada de disposiciones y procedimientos administrativos y normativos, tanto como pugnar por la modificación de disposiciones legales.

Ejercer el derecho de petición ante toda clase de autoridades con relación a cualquier asunto de carácter general que involucren los intereses de sus afiliados.

Establecer y fomentar las relaciones con las Universidades, Instituciones y Centros de Estudio Superiores o Técnicos, buscando un mayor acercamiento entre las escuelas y la industria que propicien el desarrollo económico de la región y el Estado.
